People of my beloved country

People of my beloved country, I am about to rant. I am not going to criticize the government, nor will I fight the doings of the opposition. I am not going to question the ongoing war on drugs nor will I support the battle against it. This has happened in every change in our government leadership, not just now. There will be fighting on different sides which seems endless. We were watching these things as it happens that we came to a point where we ask ourselves, "Is change really coming?".

People of the my beloved country, please hear me out. This rant that I am to tell is the rant many of us try to evade. This is the rant directed to my fellow countrymen, to my fellow Filipino. To each and those who rants and just continued to rant. To those who rant to prove they believe in what is right. To those who rant to trigger others. To those who rant to ignite others with fighting. Lastly, to those who rant but never gave a solution.

People of my beloved country, please spare me some time. The change we wanted may not be the change everyone else wanted. We neglect or threw things to the ones we dislike while we support and appreciate the ones we like, we are human beings. We all know we wanted change but why are we still acting the same as before? Why do we only see the bad things? Why is it that when someone opposes us, they are the ones who is wrong? We may see that they have a point but none of those points were taken. Aren't we supposed to learn from mistakes? Why are we so willing to take the same wounds again?

People of my beloved country, may this offend you in the process. May you be willing to see this rant of mine for you to be triggered deeply. For many years now we are changing the leadership within the government with great hope for change. We have seen changes among many things over and over again. The rules, the process and the system has been constantly changing. These were evident, except for us, the Filipino people. Don't you think this time, we are the ones who has to change? Would our country be much better if we tried to stop talking and actually listen? Would it be possible for us to stop ranting and actually think and give proper solutions? To stop saying who's right or wrong but cooperate with one another? This will be really hard, but is it really that impossible?

People of my beloved country, I do not wish you harm. I hope and pray that our leaders may be given wisdom as they may guide us to a better country. We should not stop striving for something better. We, the Filipino people were already left by the changes we made ourselves. We should be the ones who are more aware of this. We see this everyday and still ask why isn't anything changing.

People of my beloved country, I too, want change.
